     I become increasingly frustrated with the priorities of our country. I watch television commercials to help stop abuse and neglect of animals while the lives of thousands of unborn babies are terminated in the name of choice. Please don't misunderstand; I believe animals should be treated humanely. But I don't understand why our country believes it's acceptable to kill unborn humans while rallying to protect animals. Why are we, as a country, not rallying to protect our youngest citizen? Every human, regardless of the circumstances of his/her conception, has value because humans were created by God in His image.

     God's ministry at Rachel's Home is to value His creations, both mother and unborn child. Please pray for our country. Please also pray for Rachel's Home to follow God's leading as we search for new houseparents.

The reason for the season was the gift of a child born.

     Please continue to pray for Rachel's Home, currently we need new houseparents. Until God provides new houseparents Rachel's House can and will continue to pursue the mission God has called use to, but we can not fulfill it. Houseparents are the vital role that allows us to accomplish providing a home for women in crisis pregnancy.

     Remember it's the season for giving, and all donations to Rachel's Home are tax deductible and receipts will be sent by the end of January 2010.

     Volunteers are needed for any of the following: Prayer Partners, Relief House Parents, Christian Mentoring, Promotional Speaking, Transportation Assistance, Teaching, Tutoring, Home Repair, Home Assistance, Fundraising, Office Assistance, Group Projects, Job Opportunities, or any other task God may place upon your heart for helping us to provide a home for these mothers.

     Rachel's Home welcomes individuals from different churches and towns to join us as board members. We usually meet at 6:30PM on the 1st Monday of each month, except when Monday falls on a holiday.

Just be glad that Mary & Joseph were pro-life!

     For the past 16 years Rachel's Home has been a Christian safe haven for young women who have no where to turn during a crisis pregnancy. These mothers coming to us form so many different backgrounds, willing to chose life for their child. We feel blessed that God has enabled us to offer them a place to receive guidance, support, and a "chance" in an otherwise desperate situation.

     Rachel's Home operates as a non-profit organization, we don't charge any fees to those staying at the home. We are supported entirely through your donations, and all those who so graciously volunteer.

     God has blessed us in many ways these past 16 years. He has allowed us to make a difference in the lives of several young women. We have been blessed to see so many children born into this world and so many mother born again into the family of God. None of this would have been possible without the support we have received from so many people over the years. For that we are very thankful, to you and our Creator.
