- July 2009 -
We would like to offer Chad and Chris Burman a fond farewell as the Lord has called them into other things.
We are so glad that they could serve the Lord here at Rachel's Home.
As of June 28th of 2009 the ministry of Rachel's Home has lost the ability to house girl at the home, for
lack of a set of House Parents or a House Mother. We currently have a number of girl's interested in staying
at the home but are unable to house them do to this shortage of House Parents or a House Mother.
If the Lord has provided you with a heart to serve Him, in a mission style ministry. The girl's needing Rachel's
Home could really use your involvement as House Parents or a House Mother. This ministry has so many advantage to
offer unwed, or young expectant mothers, but we too must rely on the Lord's provision for so many things, and
without House Parents, this ministry losses it ability to accomplish what the Lord has created it for.

Unfortunately at this time the ministry of Rachel's Home can not take on any woman or couple interested in being
House Parents that have depended children they would have to bring into the home.

- April 2009 -
We would like to thank all the people who came out and supported Rachel's
Home at our April 4th Port-A-Pit Chicken Fundraiser.
Unfortunately, the Pro-Life Music Festival was canceled, so we will not be going
to P.L.M.F. this year. Lord willing God will provide Martt Clupper the resources
to host it in 2010.
Rachel's Home is considering hosting another New-Life concert, and is currently
looking for Christian performing artists who have a desire to server our Lord in
promoting Rachel's Home. So if God has given to you a musical, or show talent,
the Lord could use you here.
We hope this summer will be an amazing one for everyone.

- August 2008 - Meet the new house parents ....
My name is Christian Burman. My husband, Chad, and I are the new house parents,
for Rachel's Home. Chad is 24 and I am 21 years old. We have been married for
eight months now. Thought we are young and newly weds, we are reminded that God
uses His people, no matter how young or old. All He wants is our willingly heart,
and obedience to Him. I have had a growing passion in this area for while, and
I'm amazed on how God anwsers prayers. We are excited about this opportunity,
and what God has in store for Rachel's Home in the years to come. Our desire
is to provide a loving, family, Christian, atmosphere to the girls / women that
come here. We also desire to provide them the support and resources needed to
help prepare them when they leave Rachel's Home.
Please keep this ministry in you prayers.

| Could you spare a little time to help relieve our house mom? Perhaps stay half
a day, an evening, or a weekend so she can get away to do some needful things.
Could you take the girl(s) shopping, stay with them at Rachel's Home or invite
them over to your home for a short stay. Give us a call 574-935-3953 for more
information or if you would like to volunteer. |
